Privacy Policy

Asterism Invoice ("we", "us") provides invoicing and estimating tools on iOS, Android, and the web. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Asterism Invoice mobile apps (bundle io.sosys.invoicecreator), the web app, and this website.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address, used to sign in (one-time code or Google/Apple sign-in) and to contact you about your account.
• Business data you enter — business profile, clients, items, invoices, estimates, and payments you record. This is your data; we store it so the app works across your devices.
• Payment information — if you enable payment requests, payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers. App subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play via RevenueCat; we receive only subscription status, never payment details.
• Diagnostics — basic logs (e.g., errors, timestamps) needed to keep the service reliable and secure.

How we use it

• To provide the service: storing and syncing your invoices, generating PDFs, and sending invoice emails you explicitly request.
• To authenticate you and protect your data — every record is isolated to your account with row-level security.
• To operate subscriptions and payment requests through the processors above.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your business data for advertising.

Where your data lives

Data is stored with Supabase (managed Postgres, hosted on AWS, us-west-1) and protected with encryption in transit and at rest. Sub-processors: Supabase (database & auth), Stripe (invoice payments), RevenueCat plus Apple/Google (subscriptions), and our email delivery provider (sending invoice emails and sign-in codes).

Data retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, which permanently removes your account and all associated business data. You can also email us (below) and we will delete your account within 30 days.

Your rights

You may access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time. Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have additional rights — contact us and we'll honor them.

Children

Asterism Invoice is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and notify you in the app or by email.
